Trading Favors

It was supposed to be simple. An easy agreement. A harmless trading of favors between two people with zero emotional attachment.

He'd help me get the guy and in return I'd help him get out of an awkward matchmaking scheme.

No muss, no fuss and everyone would get what they wanted. That was the plan.

It seemed so simple...in theory. Now, I'm finding that the reality is anything but. Trading favors could get me everything I've ever wanted. Or, it could cost me the only real chance at love I've ever had.
